Compact 3D Set for Travel, Magnets Could Have Been Stronger

This compact set has been a fantastic addition to our child’s building collection, and due to its compact size, it takes up minimal space, making it perfect for travel. The blocks are small, about an inch tall, but this size is ideal for her little hands. The blocks themselves have medium-strong magnetic connections, ensuring they hold well in the various shapes she creates, although in some cases, like the extended head part, it tends to fall off if touched.

The small blue triangle piece could pose a choking hazard, a concern for families with babies or younger toddlers. It comes in a nice box, making it a thoughtful gift that offers more value than the price.

Toddler loves them, but be careful if you have youngers.

I got this for my toddler who no doubt loves these. The 3Dness makes it much easier for him to use than regular flat magnetic blocks. However I have an infant as well and there are some really small pieces. I don’t feel comfortable having these out with my infant around so this will be a toy I only bring out when the baby is napping. I do wish the size was a little bigger as I as hoping this could be an independent play toy but it can’t be yet.

Too Small For Young Pre-Schoolers

Oh boy, we were excited by these; they so cute. But wait! When they arrived we found they’re SO small. There were no measurements on the pieces, only photos that show young kids.

The positives are the colors are fun and they’re easy for kids to hold.

But they’re too small for little kids, definitely for my 2.5 old grandson, and probably better at ages about 3.5-4. Wait, it SAYS age 3, right? Yes, but the photo I’ve attached is from their listing. Those are babies' hands, look at the dimples. They should remove that photo, it’s misleading

Strong Magnets. Not for small children

Strong magnets. Compatible with my other magnetic building blocks. Wish there were more in the box. Hard to construct with so few blocks. But they provide a booklet of build ideas which is nice and easy to follow. Caution: some of the pieces are pretty small and made me nervous to leave my toddler alone while playing.

Rattly

These blocks are smaller than expected - they're about an inch on each side or so. This makes them nice and compact for storage, so that's not a bad thing. They're actually the perfect size for kids to hold.

The magnets aren't non-movable - they're in little pockets in the corners that leave them room to move around. This makes the whole thing rattle if you shake a block. I believe this is so the magnets in the block you're adding can rotate to be the right way and stick to the blocks already on your project - there's no worry about things not fitting together because the magnets don't point the same way or such. It just makes them rattly (which for kids is probably a good thing - it was popular here).

They seem durable and like they should be able to handle some abuse, and these survived an afternoon with the kids so far.

The colors aren't very bright (kind of muted as you can see in the pictures) but they still are good looking.

All in all a good toy.
