Creating Meaningful Moments with Dunn4Good

Creating Meaningful Moments with Dunn4Good

At Tiny Land, we believe every child deserves moments to imagine, create, play, and simply be a child.

That belief goes beyond the playroom. We look for meaningful ways to support children and families and to contribute to communities making a difference in children’s lives.

This time, we’re honored to support Dunn4Good, a Seattle-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting children and families affected by childhood cancer.

Through pediatric cancer research, support during treatment, and community programs that bring creativity and practical support to children in the hospital, Dunn4Good helps children and families feel supported when they need it most.

As part of our support for Dunn4Good, Tiny Land is proud to be part of the organization’s 2nd Annual Dinner + Auction on September 26, 2026.

A Mission Rooted in One Family’s Experience

Dunn4Good was founded by Akimi Hata after her family experienced childhood cancer firsthand.

Her son, Wesley, was diagnosed with a very high-risk form of infant leukemia at just 11 weeks old. Through that experience, Akimi came to understand the challenges childhood cancer can bring to children and their families, as well as the importance of having a community around them.

That experience became the foundation for Dunn4Good.

Today, the organization supports pediatric cancer research, children and families during treatment, and community programs that provide practical and creative support.

What began with one family’s experience has grown into an effort to help other families facing similar challenges.

Turning Support Into Action

A central part of Dunn4Good’s work is funding pediatric cancer research through Seattle Children’s, helping advance research toward better and safer treatment options for children facing cancer.

Dunn4Good also creates ways for communities to support children and families during treatment.

Through the Halls of Hope project, community members from Seattle and across the country collect art supplies that are delivered directly to children receiving inpatient care at Seattle Children’s.

Dunn4Good also collects supplies for patients and their families, offering practical ways for people to support them during long and difficult hospital stays.

On September 26, 2026, Dunn4Good will host its 2nd Annual Dunn4Good Dinner + Auction at Hideaway Cellars in Seattle.

Funds raised will help support Dunn4Good’s work, including pediatric cancer research through Seattle Children’s and programs supporting children and families affected by childhood cancer.

Tiny Land is honored to contribute to this effort with a complete dollhouse collection, including a dollhouse, dollhouse garage, and doll set, which will be featured in the silent auction. It represents something we believe every child deserves: a little room to imagine.

The Tiny Land Sweet Family Gift Set includes a modern black dollhouse, garage, extra dolls, and miniature furniture—complete with multiple rooms and patio for imaginative play.

A dollhouse can become almost anything a child imagines. A family home. A neighborhood. A cozy room. A place where stories begin.

And sometimes, those small moments can make a difficult day feel a little more like childhood.

That’s one of the reasons supporting Dunn4Good feels so meaningful to us.

We’re proud to support its work—from advancing pediatric cancer research through Seattle Children’s to creating practical and creative ways to support children and families during treatment.
