Chosen by Chefs and Food Professionals for Their Own Kids
We’re excited to share that two Tiny Land play kitchens were recently featured in The Strategist, New York Magazine’s shopping and product recommendation publication.
The Strategist highlighted play kitchens chosen by chefs, cookbook authors, recipe developers, and food writers for their own children.
The two Tiny Land designs featured were the Tiny Land Iconic Wooden Play Kitchen and the Tiny Land Cubby Kitchenette.
Tiny Land Iconic Wooden Play Kitchen
Chef and podcast host Gina Bruno Knopov purchased the Tiny Land Iconic Wooden Play Kitchen for her 2-year-old daughter.
Knopov highlighted its thoughtful details and manageable size, describing it as engaging without feeling overwhelming. The interactive knobs became a favorite feature, encouraging her daughter to create her own pretend cooking routines.
After a year of heavy play, Knopov shared that the play kitchen remained in great condition and was easy to wipe down.

Tiny Land Cubby Kitchenette
The Tiny Land Cubby Kitchenette was recommended by writer, recipe developer, and The Strategist contributor Fanny Singer.
Its compact footprint was a key part of the appeal. Singer’s daughter used the kitchen for several years before it was passed along to another family, where it continued to be used.
Singer praised its compact size, simple farmhouse-inspired design, practical price point, and functional play space, making it a fitting option for families looking for imaginative play in a smaller footprint.

Designed for Different Ways of Growing and Playing
At Tiny Land, we believe play kitchens can be more than a toy—they can give children a dedicated space to explore, imagine, and engage in meaningful pretend play.
That’s why we create play kitchens in different sizes, styles, and configurations, giving families options that can support children’s changing interests and stages of play while fitting naturally into different home environments.
From compact designs for smaller spaces to more feature-rich kitchens for extended pretend play, our goal is to make it easier for families to find a play kitchen that works for their child, their play style, and their home.
